I am a UAE Public Policy expert with over 30 years of dedicated multidisciplinary work experience primarily in the public and healthcare sector in the UAE coupled with rigorous educational and professional background from the USA. My professional focus has been the field of healthcare in public health delivery, public policy & policy development, strategy & governance. My expertise has matured in various areas of healthcare and policy development as well as with diverse working environments and partners such as government, private consulting companies, International Organizations, NGOs, Think Tanks, and academia. I gained in depth policy development and policy analysis expertise serving the federal and local government authorities in the UAE such as the Ministry of Heath UAE, Ambulatory Health Services and the Department of Health Abu Dhabi. In my professional capacity, I have developed, advised and lead on a number of high-level government policies, policy agendas, strategies and projects. In my previous capacity as the lead on the Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi’s policy work, I have been devoted to taking forward DOH to become a more Agile Regulator.
